Parents & Tots Playgroup
| For parents with children 0-5 years of age. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11 am at the Community Hall. The cost per session is $2 per child. At every session a snack is provided around 10 a.m. Join us and have some fun meeting new parents and their children. Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
| The Yellowbird East Community League hosts Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts in association with Scouts Canada. New recruits are always welcome. Please contact Suzanne at 780-431-2437 for more information. Beavers, for children 5-7 years of age, meet on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 7 pm at the Community Hall. Activities include crafts, stories, games, hikes, and outings. The 199 Yellowbird Cubs, for children 8-10 years of age, meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8 pm at Keheewin School Gym. Activities include badge work, camps, and outings. Girl GuidesGirl Guides of Canada offers challenging, active programs for girls ages 5 to 17+. In the company of friends and women mentors, girls in the community are experiencing the fun, friendship and adventure of the Girl Guides Movement. You can be a part of it! 50+ GroupThe Twin Brooks and Yellowbird East Community Leagues have joined to form the 50+ monthly get together. This is an afternoon of board games, cards, snacks, and chatting with friends…and of course laughter! We meet the last Thursday of each month from 1 - 3:30 pm at the Yellowbird East Community Hall 10710-19ave.
